From Latin pharmacopola, from Ancient Greek φαρμακοπώλης (pharmakopṓlēs), from φάρμακον (phármakon, drug, charm, enchantment) + -πώλης (-pṓlēs, -seller, -monger). Doublet of pharmacopolist.
