Cognate with Burmese ပြည့် (prany., full) (< Old Burmese ပ္လည် (plany), ပ္လေည် (pleny, full)), Chinese (OC *leŋ), Nuosu (jjip, full), Nasu ɖɚ²¹ (full), Nusu bʴɚ̃³¹ (full), Lisu ꓐꓲꓺ (bi̱, full), Hani byao (full), Youle Jino plɯ³³ (full), Western Lalu vi³³ (full), Jingpho hpring (full), Chepang ब्‍लीङ्‌सा (blīṅ, full), Karbi pleng and Bokar biŋ (full). Compare with Lhao Vo byang”, Zaiwa bying, Longchuan Achang pʐəŋ³⁵, Luxi Achang pəŋ⁵¹ and Hpon pyài-ŋ.
