precisionist (plural precisionists)
- One who values precision.
- An artist working in the style of precisionism.
- Alternative form of precisianist: precisian; a religious purist or Puritan.
Usage notes[edit]
- The word precisionist is on the order of 20 times less common than pedant,[1] which is a near-synonym. However, unlike pedant, it is morphologically transparent, pointing to the definition.
