Romanian[edit]

Etymology[edit]

Possibly from a Vulgar Latin *rasclāre, from *resticulāre, from Latin resticula. Alternatively, from Bulgarian расшивам (rasšivam). The result may be due to dissimilation from a form *răsșia, as with rășchira.

Verb[edit]

a rășchia (third-person singular present rășchiază, past participle rășchiat) 1st conj.

  1. to reel
  2. to unravel
