stream snipe (third-person singular simple present stream snipes, present participle stream sniping, simple past and past participle stream sniped)

  1. (video games, Internet) To watch another person play a multiplayer game on a live stream, and to use the knowledge gained from watching the broadcast to gain an unfair in-game advantage over the streamer or to disrupt the streamer's gameplay.
    It is typically frowned upon to stream snipe another person.
    Chat, I'm blocking the screen so you don't stream snipe me.
