Etymology[edit]
Inherited from Ottoman Turkish تراویح (terāvih),[1][2] from Arabic تَرَاوِيحْ (tarāwīḥ), plural of تَرْوِيحَة (tarwīḥa, “relief, rest for breathing”).[3]
