Calque of English topless. Composed of toppur + -laus.

- (uncommon, informal) topless (a woman not wearing clothes above the waist)
- Synonyms: berbrjósta, ber að ofan
- (uncommon, automotive) topless (a convertible that has the top retracted)

This term is primarily used by authors translating the English term topless. The terms berbrjósta and ber að ofan are more idiomatic.
