umbi lapis (plural umbi-umbi lapis, first-person possessive umbi lapisku, second-person possessive umbi lapismu, third-person possessive umbi lapisnya)
- (botany) bulb: the bulb-shaped root portion of a plant such as a tulip, from which the rest of the plant may be regrown, structurally a short stem with fleshy leaves or leaf bases that function as food storage organs during dormancy.
- Synonym: bebawang (Standard Malay)
