vocal cord nodule (plural vocal cord nodules)
- (pathology) Symmetrical swellings on both sides of the vocal cords, caused usually by strenuous or abusive voice practices, and symptomatized by hoarseness, pain when using one's voice, vocal breaks and reduced vocal range.
