waterfall skirt (plural waterfall skirts)

  1. (clothing) A skirt that is longer on one side than the other.
  2. (upholstery) A skirt (fabric border below the seat of an upholstered chair or sofa) that begins at the top of the seat frame, hanging from directly beneath the seat cushions, as opposed to the more common configuration that hangs from the bottom of the seat frame.
