  1. (US) A sale of used household goods held on the seller's own premises.
    Synonyms: garage sale, tag sale, rummage sale
  2. (sports) The state of a skier, snowboarder, skateboarder, cyclist, etc. and their equipment after a severe crash, laid out across the ground like items in a yard sale.
