Usage notes[edit]

When used with adjectives, yn dal is followed by the linking particle yn:

Mae hi'n dal yn beryglus ar y ffordd tu allan.It is still dangerous on the road outside.

When used with verb-nouns, yn dal is followed by the preposition i:

Mae hi'n dal i helpu gyda'r ffermio.She is still helping with the farm work.
