נַעֲשָׂה (na'asá) third-singular masculine past (nif'al construction, active counterpart עָשָׂה)

  1. to be done, performed, executed
    • Tanach, Esther 6:11, with translation of the Darby Bible:
      כָּכָה יֵעָשֶׂה לָאִישׁ אֲשֶׁר הַמֶּלֶךְ חָפֵץ בִּיקָרוֹ

  2. to be made, created, brought into being.
    • Tanach, Leviticus 7:9, with Young's Literal Translation:

Usage notes[edit]

  • The present tense נַעֲשֶׂה (na'asé) is now often pronounced (like the past tense) נַעֲשָׂה (na'asá).
