  1. (transitive) to adorn, to wreath

      يَا غُصْنَ نَقَا مُكَلَّلًا بِٱلذَّهَبِ – أَفْدِيكَ مِنَ ٱلرَّدَى بِأُمِّي وَأَبِي
      yā ḡuṣna naqā mukallalan bi-ḏ-ḏahabi – ʔafdīka mina r-radā biʔummī waʔabī
      Oh branch of the sand dune wreathed in gold – I ransom you from death by my mother and my father
  2. (transitive) to crown
    كُلِّلَ بِٱلنَّجَاحِ
    kullila bi-n-najāḥi
    He was crowned with success.
