From Middle Persian or another Middle Iranian language; found in Northern Kurdish dergûş (“cradle”), Hebrew דַּרְגָּשׁ (dargāš, “divan”), Old Armenian դարգիճ (dargič), դարգուճ (darguč, “litter”).
