From underlying ܡܘܿܕܝܼ ܐܝܼܬ ܡܘܿܕܝܼ ܠܲܝܬ (mōdī īt mōdī layt, literally what is there, what is there not); compare the same in Iraqi Arabic شاكو ماكو (šāku māku) and North Levantine Arabic شوفي مافي (šūfi māfi).
