Etymology[edit]

Inherited from Gurjar Apabhramsa उन्हाल (unhāla), उण्हाल (uṇhhāla) + Middle Indo-Aryan -𑀓- (-ka-), from Sanskrit उष्णकाल (uṣṇakāla).[1] Cognate with Old Hindi उन्हांला (unhāṃlā), Old Marathi 𑘄𑘡𑘿𑘮𑘰𑘯𑘰 (unhāḷā).
