  1. An excretion, especially applied to faeces, dung, dirt, filth, dregs, sediment.
    Synonyms: (of humans or carnivores) పీయి (pīyi), (of cattle) పేడ (pēḍa), (of sheep, goats, hares, deer, or rats) పెంటిక (peṇṭika), (of horses, asses, elephants, or camels) లద్ది (laddi), (of birds or fish) రెట్ట (reṭṭa)
  2. Sin, pollution.
