Etymology[edit]

From Ᾰ̓χαιμένης (Akhaiménēs, Achaemenes) +‎ -ῐ́δης (-ídēs). Equivalent of Old Persian 𐏃𐎧𐎠𐎶𐎴𐎡𐏁𐎡𐎹 (Haxāmanišyaʰ).
