Etymology[edit]
Compound of 角 (tsuno, “horn”) + 錐 (kiri, “awl”). The kiri changes to giri as an instance of rendaku (連濁).

This term seems to be very rare, and is not listed in many dictionaries.[1][2][3][4][5]
