Noun[edit]
制球力 • (seikyūryoku)
- (baseball, pitching) ball control; the ability of a pitcher to throw a ball precisely
- Synonym: コントロール (kontorōru)
- 1994, Shōsetsu chūkō, page 227:
- ピッチングの生命は制球力である。球の力がおとろえてもコントロールさえ万全であれば、充分に一流で通用する。
- Pitchingu no seimei wa seikyūryoku dearu. Tama no chikara ga otoroete mo kontorōru sae banzen deareba, jūbun ni ichiryū de tsūyō suru.
