Orthographic borrowing from Chinese 大四喜, derived from (dai-, big, great) +‎ 四喜和 (sūshīhō, win with melds of all four wind tiles).

Also attested in some dictionaries as a direct borrowing from Mandarin 大四喜 (dàsìxǐ).
