꼬누다 • (kkonuda) (infinitive 꼬누어 or 꼬눠, sequential 꼬누니)

1. Gyeongsang, Jeolla dialect, and Chungcheong form of 겨누다 (gyeonuda, “to take aim, measure”)
   • 1980 February 28, 주필득 [jupildeuk], “강원도 포수 이야기 [gang'wondo posu iyagi]”, in 한국구비문학대계 [han'gukgubimunhakdaegye]‎^[1], 경상남도 거창군 거창읍 [gyeongsangnamdo geochanggun geochang'eup]:

     이 꽁을 잡을라고 말이지, 층을 꼬누고 간께 또 포르르 날라간다.

     I kkong-eul jab-eulla-go mari-ji, cheung-eul kkonu-go gankke tto poreureu nallaganda.

     In order to catch the pheasant [the hunter] took aim with his gun and [the pheasant] flapped its wings and flew away again.
