Usage notes[edit]
- The prescriptive standard in South Korea is 만둣국 (mandutguk), as this is a Sinitic-native compound, but the said spelling is not as common in practice. Only 만두국 (manduguk) is accepted in North Korea. See ㅅ#Usage notes for information on the use and orthography of the relevant interfix.
