Sino-Korean word from 漢詩 (“Chinese poetry”). See also Japanese 漢詩 (kanshi, “Chinese poetry”).

- Phonetic hangul: [한(ː)시]
- Though still prescribed in Standard Korean, most speakers in both Koreas no longer distinguish vowel length.
