"Crime" (verb): not a nonce[edit]

The verb "crime" is not a nonce word, because it wasn't invented, just borrowed from the noun. Making a verb from a noun happens frequently, and it doesn't make sense to call all of them nonce words. The fact that this one hasn't (yet?) become as popular as some others doesn't really change the situation. TooManyFingers (talk) 19:05, 14 August 2021 (UTC)Reply
