This category (Category:Gay) was just created yesterday (by me) and then replaced (by me) with Category:Gay culture, since gay is also the 3 letter ISO code for the Gayo language, which makes Template:gay refer to the Gayo language. BTW, I am going to request Category:Gay culture be moved to Category:LGBT which is more current and inclusive. Facts707 13:17, 4 April 2010 (UTC)Reply

Done. BTW do they have to exist separately, or can one be a parent category? Mglovesfun (talk) 13:19, 4 April 2010 (UTC)Reply
LGBT sounds far more user-friendly to me. Culture is the wrong word here, I'm sure of that --Rising Sun talk? contributions 13:21, 4 April 2010 (UTC)Reply

To finish this off: I created Category:LGBT which replaces this one as well as being more inclusive, current, and accepted. I updated Template:LGBT and moved the few word entries to the new category already. Thanks, Facts707 15:28, 5 April 2010 (UTC)Reply

Surely Category:LGBTI or Category:Queer would be more inclusive, current and accepted? ---> Tooironic 14:52, 9 April 2010 (UTC)Reply
