- @Inqilābī: No, it is a "dialect" (the subvarieties are not very mutually intelligible) of Highland Chatino spoken in the city San Juan Quiahije. —AryamanA (मुझसे बात करें • योगदान) 01:59, 16 November 2020 (UTC)

- @AryamanA: For the first time I am seeing this kind of thing. Very strange, I must say. So, are we supposed to create an audio for the whole inflection paradigm of a word? I am sure there's no rule on't, so it would be best to create entries for all inflected forms & have separate audios for them all. - @Inqilābī: This is the result of fieldwork collected over a long period. I (with another colleague at my university) helped ChaqFxaF add it to Wiktionary. I think the status quo is fine since it includes all the necessary information for the entry, and ChaqFxaF is not too familiar with the editing structure etc. so we probably won't be making major changes. Generally, the audio is only a recording of the lemma, but there's no explicit prohibition of this inflectional information which certainly doesn't hurt. —AryamanA (मुझसे बात करें • योगदान) 02:59, 18 November 2020 (UTC)

- @Inqilābī: Yep, she's a very knowledgeable Chatino-family linguist, who's done important academic work in documenting her variety. I wasn't involved in the fieldwork but may be in the future. I'm working on some tools to help linguists upload their work to Wiktionary as one of my university research projects.
