Kommandite f (genitive Kommandite, plural Kommanditen)

  1. (law, business, dated) a commandite, a limited partnership in some countries like Canada. (Note: More common in German just to use the French word.)

  2. (law, business, rare, historical) now-defunct/replaced legal entities in Prussia and elsewhere which were the antecedents of the modern Kommanditgesellschaft
