  1. a primordial divinity and orisha associated with hunting and war. While he is said to be from Ẹ̀fọ̀n-Aláayè, his worship is centered in Ìbàdàn. He is closely associated with Ọ̀ṣun and Ọ̀ṣọ́ọ̀sì (with some sources saying he is their son).
