@Kephir. Thanks for your efforts. I've just added a full list of syllables but they all failed because of the tones. Can a flag be added "ignore tones", just to check for the basic conversion. Alternatively, some tone marks should be added but it's not so easy on pinyin. The tone mark on pinyin can be on different vowels. In any case, it's a visual guide of expected changes. The source is [here. The reverse conversion is actually more important, it could be used in Mandarin templates to display Zhuyin for Taiwanese users or those who prefer bopomofo. It could and should be based on numbered pinyin, though, not toned pinyin, which is used in all entries. --Anatoli (обсудить/вклад) 23:20, 21 January 2014 (UTC)Reply
