@Wyang I'm using the same system here that you've made at MOD:ar-pronunciation; it works great with Hindi, it just messes up with syllabification of lengthened vowels (ː). Could you tell me what I've done wrong? Thanks. —Aryamanarora (मुझसे बात करो) 01:09, 26 May 2017 (UTC)Reply

Hi Aryamanarora. e is missing from vowels. :) Wyang (talk) 01:14, 26 May 2017 (UTC)Reply
@Wyang: Oh, thanks! My name is just Aryaman btw. —Aryamanarora (मुझसे बात करो) 20:59, 26 May 2017 (UTC)Reply
Haha thanks! Wyang (talk) 21:11, 26 May 2017 (UTC)Reply
@Wyang: So, another question. How do I invoke this? {{#invoke:User:Aryamanarora/hi-IPA|toIPA|हार्दिक}}}} just gives Lua error: bad argument #1 to 'gsub' (string expected, got table). If you couldn't tell, I don't know much about Lua. —Aryamanarora (मुझसे बात करो) 22:10, 26 May 2017 (UTC)Reply
Do you plan to use this in a template ({{hi-IPA}}) Aryaman? If so, you can put {{#invoke:...|toIPA}} on the template page, and calling the template with {{hi-IPA|हार्दिक}} should work. Wyang (talk) 22:19, 26 May 2017 (UTC)Reply
@Wyang: Yeah, to replace the unwieldy {{hi-IPA}} that currently exists. Thanks for all the help! —Aryamanarora (मुझसे बात करो) 22:23, 26 May 2017 (UTC)Reply
@Wyang: There still seems to be a module error, on e.g. ओहायो (ohāyo). —Aryamanarora (मुझसे बात करो) 22:34, 26 May 2017 (UTC)Reply
It is okay now - I've tweaked the code on the module and template to make them compatible. Module:hi-IPA/testcases also works (and is all green). Wyang (talk) 23:03, 26 May 2017 (UTC)Reply
