Germanic -gg- cannot yield Old Saxon and Old Dutch -kk-. They are two different forms. Also why is it a neuter and then becomes a weak masculine or feminine in all languages? This is wrong.
- Yes, this could use some re-eval. The source here [[1]] lists it as neuter, based on Old Norse. This oftentimes will correspond to a masculine in West Germanic, however it doesn't list anything but the Middle Low German and Old Norse as descendants. I think too that English platch, patch doesn't belong either... Leasnam (talk) 00:48, 30 January 2019 (UTC)
