@Rua: I think the question was why the reconstruction is not given as *jastrębъ, given that all descendant forms, save for one variant form in Ukrainian, start in j- (ja- or, in Czech, presumably due to the Czech "umlaut", je-/jě-). --Florian Blaschke (talk) 16:26, 28 September 2019 (UTC)Reply
