Reconstructing *adak instead of *hadak[edit]
Why is *adak favored over *hadak as the primary reconstruction? How else is Khalaj explained?

- Some authorities, like EDAL, which is still influental in our etymologies, take Khalaj aspiration to be secondary in some cases (but unaspirated onset to always be inherited), see EDAL pages 27-28. I would support moving the page to *hadak however. Crom daba (talk) 13:41, 30 July 2018 (UTC)
