I read the explanation given in the Etymology but this page doesn’t explain why it is *hūrijō instead of *hūzijō. Also in Dutch the etymology says it is derived from *hūzijaną but in Middle Dutch from *hūrijaną. Given both mean "to hire”, I think it’s appropriate to mention it. 𐌷𐌻𐌿𐌳𐌰𐍅𐌹𐌲𐍃 𐌰𐌻𐌰𐍂𐌴𐌹𐌺𐌹𐌲𐌲𐍃 08:19, 25 June 2019 (UTC)

Given the lack of a Gothic descendant, we can't tell if the consonant was z or r. —Rua (mew) 09:09, 25 June 2019 (UTC)Reply
Of course. I saw that *hūrijō page was edited to give a more clear-cut approach. Therefore, I think that this issue is resolve. 𐌷𐌻𐌿𐌳𐌰𐍅𐌹𐌲𐍃 𐌰𐌻𐌰𐍂𐌴𐌹𐌺𐌹𐌲𐌲𐍃 05:14, 26 June 2019 (UTC)
