ŃNeither the Online Etymological Dictionary of English (https://www.etymonline.com/search?q=pipe) nor the Dutch etymological dictionaries (https://www.etymologiebank.nl/trefwoord/pijp1) mention any reconstructed proto-Germanic form, and all write that it's an early loan from vulgar Latin. So what's the source of this? 88.159.16.233 13:34, 7 March 2022 (UTC)Reply
