hey I just wanted to comment on the change I made to this page, while many people think that Übermensch mean superman overman is a better and most exact translation.
Ubermensch (s) Ubermenschen (pl)
[edit]Seems to me that overman is a literal translation and archaic in English usage. Superman tends to be used in political science books on the subject. Of course Superman has the comic book character reference to disturb the user's sensibilities, so Ubermensch, the original German, is often used in English-language texts.
I would suggest that Ubermenschen, the plural, be added to the Wiktionary. It refers to the category or class of persons, a race of superior persons. It isn't included in the main Wikipedia page on Ubermensch either. A number of websites are dedicated to the term.

[edit]There is a common adjective form of the word: übermenschlich. Might it be added?

Not coined by Nietzsche
