Pronunciation

Explain how the ľ, as spoken, differentiates itself from the common l. I am glad this is a very terse page, but this small tidbit can be useful. 74.65.108.241 17:34, 13 February 2012 (UTC)

AFAIK, nowadays it's only used in Slovak. Whereas the Slovak (deprecated template usage) l is pronounced [l], like the English (deprecated template usage) l, the Slovak (deprecated template usage) ľ is pronounced [ʎ], like the Spanish (deprecated template usage) ll (in dialects which have not undergone yeísmo).
