I see little credible evidence for a Semitic origin of the name of Europe. I'm going to try to find out at what time in history it came to refer to the landmass. As for Asia, your theory is mentioned on Ἀσία but it's just one of many theories and as we currently say, there is a hurdle to jump before we can accept that idea either.
