Is the second person singular present active imperative supposed to be γιγνῶσκε, as stated in the conjugation table? My sources seem to indicate that it is γίγνωσκε. Bbi5291 17:44, 14 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

active aorist form[edit]

why are some of the aorist forms missing? 110.23.56.65 14:35, 7 May 2014 (UTC)Reply

Because the omicron contracted second aorist is poorly attested, and I couldn't find all the forms. If you know them, by all means put them in the template, or let me know and I'll do so. -Atelaes λάλει ἐμοί 06:52, 12 May 2014 (UTC)Reply

error?[edit]

Someone on OTRS suggests that the second person singular active imperative aorist should be γνωθι rather than γνός as listed. Anyone know?—msh210 (talk) 05:16, 12 May 2014 (UTC)Reply

It would seem that they're correct, at least in Attic. I'll add that to the inflection, but I'm leaving γνός in as well, as that seems to be the "standard" form for this inflection, which is rather tricky. -Atelaes λάλει ἐμοί 06:55, 12 May 2014 (UTC)Reply

Quotations[edit]

The quotations don't actually give quotations, but just citations, and they don't even link to the passage (e.g. in wikisource). This practice is annoying and indefensible. --Tibetologist (talk) 06:41, 2 January 2020 (UTC)Reply

@Tibetologist: Several of the citations do link to Wikisource, for instance the citation of the Iliad under the first definition links to 18.270. Perhaps something isn't working in your browser? — Eru·tuon 06:51, 2 January 2020 (UTC)Reply
Cool, I was just unlucky and tried two that didn't and drew a hasty conclusion.
