Sample sentences are not very natural[edit]

Sorry but sample Russian sentences are not very natural to a native Russian speaker, I may need to delete them. Fixing may take too long. The effort is appreciated, though. --Anatoli 01:36, 13 August 2011 (UTC)Reply

Interesting, User:Duga3 rated himself at ru-N. Sentences 3 and especially 5 sound a trifle odd to my native-but-woefully-out-of-practise ear, the others are okay although they probably could be improved upon. Tempodivalse [talk] 02:21, 13 August 2011 (UTC)Reply
Ah, I just read User talk:Duga3#предубеждений?, now that makes sense. I'm (sort of) in a similar situation, and never could decide whether I'm closer to ru-N or ru-4. Tempodivalse [talk] 02:36, 13 August 2011 (UTC)Reply
Samples 1 and 2 also sound unnatural, especially 1. Number 2 may be acceptable with a stretch.
  • После потери игре, я чувствовал только расстройство -> Проиграв игру, я чувствовал только расстройство. The first part is really weird and grammatically incorrect. --Anatoli 13:45, 13 August 2011 (UTC)Reply
Oh, I see the problem now, of course. (Remind me not to edit at midnight next time.) I think most of these sentences can be rewritten, though - a word like расстройство, with many meanings, is a good one to have examples for. Tempodivalse [talk] 14:15, 13 August 2011 (UTC)Reply
I rewrote the 1st and 5th sentences, which seemed the least natural. Could someone add the accents? I have no idea how they should be typed in. Tempodivalse [talk] 14:29, 13 August 2011 (UTC)Reply
