pronunciations for traditional[edit]

@Vahagn Petrosyan just so I know, can I add hy-pron to traditional orthography versions of Eastern? Hovsepig (talk) 16:54, 21 June 2022 (UTC)Reply

@Hovsepig: I don't know if duplicating pronunciation is a good idea (both for Western and Eastern). Note how the goys centralize all the pronunciations at one spelling: behavior vs behaviour, visualise vs visualize. If as a Western speaker it is pleasant for you to see a pronunciation at the traditional spelling, then add it (without suppressing the Eastern). Vahag (talk) 17:03, 21 June 2022 (UTC)Reply
@Vahagn Petrosyan: Hmm, I think what I'll do is that I'll skip adding TOA pronunciations for now. At some future point, when I start adding the Western decl's, I might think of adding the pronunciations too. I would argue against duplication for more systematic datasets for CS/ling-people. In that case, I would either a) do nothing, or b) add hy-pron-w for the TOA but then remove hy-pron-w for the reformed. But eh, why do effort of (a) :P Hovsepig (talk) 17:06, 21 June 2022 (UTC)Reply
