Persian cognate

I got it from he.wikt. he:אצה, it's there since a 2006 revision. Enosh (talk) 13:48, 31 March 2016 (UTC)

(e/c) It looks like he just copied it from he.wikt he:אצה, which says "בפרסית: אַטָּא", meaning "in Persian: ʾaṭṭā" (theoretically implying a spelling such as اطّا or اتّا, but it could be referring to any historical variety of Persian). I found اطا (atâ (ʾaṭā)), a species of poplar tree, in Dehkhoda Dictionary, which says it is a Greek loanword borrowed via Arabic, mentioning ارطی (artâ, arti), اطاء (atâ' (ʾaṭāʾ)), and اطاطاس (etâtâs) as its by-forms. --Z 15:56, 1 April 2016 (UTC)

That doesn't look related. It's also possible that ט was a misreading of a ס, which would make more phonological sense. Is there anything like اصا or اسا? --WikiTiki89 17:09, 1 April 2016 (UTC)
