@Lingo Bingo Dingo It belongs to that verb, yes. Are you asking if zihem is attested? It's in very common use in modern times (a google books search for מזהם or לזהם will confirm that). I'm not sure about pre-modern attestation. — Mnemosientje (t · c) 09:45, 22 November 2020 (UTC)

@Lingo Bingo Dingo Yes, nouns of this pattern (קיטול) are always action nouns derived from pi'el verbs (and for that reason they, like pi'el verbs, also have a dagesh in the second root letter, as e.g. at טיפול. — Mnemosientje (t · c) 11:02, 22 November 2020 (UTC)
