اُمْرُؤٌ[edit]

Hi, according to pag. 42 of 'Arabic: An Essential Grammar', by Faruk Abu-Chacra, the nominative sg. form first vowel is كسرة, that is, اِمرؤ. Should I correct it? Thanks in advance. --Backinstadiums (talk) 15:37, 14 February 2017 (UTC)Reply

plural form(s)[edit]

Hi, I'd like to know what plural could be linked to this form. Thanks in advance. --Backinstadiums (talk) 09:32, 13 March 2017 (UTC)Reply

سكون[edit]

HI, I've noticed that once القطع is lost, the following sukun is replaed by فتحة in several patterns, such as أَحْمَر feminine حَمْرَاء, or امرؤ definite المرء. I'd like to know whether a general rule can be stated and added to the corresponding entries. Thanks in advance. --Backinstadiums (talk) 14:02, 13 March 2017 (UTC)Reply
