Taboo[edit]

@Metaknowledge: What’s the taboo you are referring to? Fay Freak (talk) 16:12, 8 August 2021 (UTC)Reply

@Fay Freak: تسعة (tisʕa, nine) sounds like تسعى (tisʕa, You beg/She begs). — Fenakhay (تكلم معاي · ما ساهمت) 16:48, 8 August 2021 (UTC)Reply
@Fenakhay: Em, and that would be a “taboo”? It would be a thing to add something for disambiguation, but the idea of “taboo” is still not clear to me. The usual term for begging is not vulgar? Or mentioning beggary ill-omened? Fay Freak (talk) 17:07, 8 August 2021 (UTC)Reply
@Fay Freak: It is a term of art in linguistics. See Word taboo. —Μετάknowledgediscuss/deeds 17:34, 8 August 2021 (UTC)Reply
@Metaknowledge: I know, but what I don’t know is the taboo, which you have not told us. Fay Freak (talk) 18:52, 8 August 2021 (UTC)Reply
