رمال[edit]

Can رمال be another form? 24.29.228.33 07:40, 24 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

Collective noun.[edit]

The noun رمل is collective and its singulative form is رملة as you can see in this dictionary https://www.almaany.com/ar/dict/ar-ar/رملة/ and this one https://islamweb.net/ar/library/index.php?page=bookcontents&ID=3291&idfrom=3286&idto=3286&flag=0&bk_no=122&ayano=0&surano=0&bookhad=0

Why was my edit reverted?

@ICanHelpYou: Welcome! There's a particular Saudi IP here who's an invaluable and very diligent contributor, but who occasionally reverts things without explanation and gets stubborn about it sometimes — see edit history of جَاسُوس (jāsūs) or بَخُور (baḵūr), for example. (بلا ما أظلمه, though: he is right about it other times, like in the edit history of مَثْنَى (maṯnā) and اَللَّٰهُمَّ (allāhumma).) In any case, you're completely in the right here. —M. I. Geomancy[edit]

@Fay Freak, did this also mean "geomancy" in Arabic? Some of the descendants (to be added) show that meaning. --Vahag (talk) 05:49, 18 July 2020 (UTC)Reply
