Talk:زكي

From what I read in [2009, Hoogland et al, Woordenboek Arabisch-Nederlands, →ISBN] and [1976, Wehr and Cowan, A Dictionary of Modern Written Arabic, →ISBN] I doubt that the description published for زكي (or زَكِيّ) is correct. The latter dictionary describes its meaning as "pure, chaste; guiltless, blameless, sinless" whereas http://www.almaany.com/home.php?language=english&word=زَكِيّ&category[]=Technology&lang_name=Arabic&type_word=0&dspl=0 includes the sense of "fragrance", which corresponds to the description in Dutch in the former dictionary.

The description given on Wiktionary corresponds to that of the meaning given in the above dictionaries for the word ذَكِيّ , which looks and sounds similar, but starts with dhal instead of zay. Redav (talk) 20:59, 17 September 2012 (UTC)
