In Nepali, डाक्टर [ḍākṭar] is (I think) much more commonly used though, compared to "डॉक्टर".

google:"डाक्टर" site:www.bbc.com/nepali has 4,470 results, whereas google:"डॉक्टर" site:www.bbc.com/nepali has 0 for me; same for www.swasthyakhabar.com (A Nepali news website; 3140 vs 7), setopati.com (another Nepali news website; 21,400 vs 4) and ne.wikipedia.org (139 vs 6).
